Briargrove

Houston’s Briargrove subdivision was established in the 1950s with family-oriented, mostly one-story ranch-style brick homes. Most of those original homes have been updated and remodeled and many have been replaced by larger, more recent homes after deed restrictions were modified in 1986 to allow expansion to one-and-a-half and two stories.

There are 893 lots in Briargrove. Plans to modify interiors and exteriors of existing homes or to build new homes must be approved by the vigilant Briargrove Property Owners Association, which ensures that the neighborhood’s community spirit and aesthetically pleasing look are preserved.
